The photo poster project, hosted by cizucu, is held worldwide. By simply submitting your photographs to cizucu, you can participate in the photo poster exhibition and connect with fellow photographers you have yet to meet.
This time, we spoke with ToooorU!, a creator who took part in the photo poster project.

Please introduce yourself!
I work under the theme of “Nightrait” (Night × Portrait = Nightrait), fusing cityscapes at night with portraiture.
Utilizing rain-soaked streets and neon lights, I strive to capture moments imbued with narrative, reminiscent of a scene from a film, weaving small stories into each photograph.
What inspired you to participate?
I had been interested in the photo poster project for some time, and when I was invited to participate, I was drawn to the opportunity to have my photographs viewed in person, to be inspired by the works of other creators, and to connect with people through photography. These aspects motivated me to take on the challenge.

As someone who continually shares work online via various social media platforms, I find fulfillment in immersing myself in real-life expression and connections, and in living a life surrounded by photography.
How was your experience participating?
I feel that my enjoyment of photography has broadened even further. Of course, I have always valued the process of shooting, searching for subjects, editing, and sharing on social media to receive feedback. However, with the photo poster project, I was able to go a step further—printing my work, exhibiting it, and engaging directly with others.
Exchanging words in front of the artwork offered new perspectives and inspiration, making it a time of personal growth. I feel that the photo poster project is a place that elevates the joy and excitement of photography to the next level.
Why did you choose that particular photograph?
The theme this time was ‘2025’, so I deliberated over which photograph to exhibit, but ultimately chose the one in which I felt most immersed during the shoot this year.

While I usually shoot night street scenes and portraits, when I took this photograph, I encountered a view I had never seen before and found myself lost in the moment, pressing the shutter without a thought for time.
I believe this sense of immersion is the true allure of photography.
For those considering participating in the photo poster project
I highly recommend this project to those who wish to connect with other creators or simply want to engage with fellow photography enthusiasts.
It is also ideal for those who have never printed their own photographs, or who are interested in solo or group exhibitions but feel the barrier to entry is high.
Even beginners can participate without hesitation, and any type of photograph is welcome. If you have ever wanted to exhibit your work, the photo poster project is the perfect place to take that first step.
