For example, Sony's α7S series is a standout model among the company's full-frame mirrorless cameras, specializing in high sensitivity performance. Additionally, models like the Canon EOS R6 Mark II and Nikon Z6III are also excellent choices for high ISO photography.
These cameras can suppress the impact of noise even at high sensitivity, allowing for smooth shooting in low-light conditions.
AI-Powered Noise Reduction
With digital photo RAW data, it has become relatively easy to reduce high ISO noise. Many creators use general RAW development software to reduce noise with just a click of a button.
However, traditional noise reduction methods often resulted in a loss of sharpness. Recent advancements in AI-powered noise reduction technology have addressed this issue, sometimes even enhancing sharpness compared to the original image. A notable example of such software is "DxO PureRAW."
As AI-driven noise reduction technology continues to evolve, the reasons to avoid high ISO photography may soon disappear entirely.
