The , organized by cizucu since the end of last year, allows participants to join a photo poster exhibition simply by submitting their photos to cizucu. It’s a chance to meet new photographer friends you’ve never encountered before.
This time, we spoke with creator sho sato, who participated in the .

Please introduce yourself!
My name is sho sato. Currently, I’m pursuing a lifestyle where I can continue taking photos. I’ve loved photography since I was a child, and after leaving my previous job three years ago, I gradually started receiving photography-related work.
On most days, I walk around capturing the changing seasons and the transformations of the city. Sometimes, I venture further to capture serene moments that make me want to take a deep breath.
As I continued doing this alone, I began meeting people with similar perspectives and connecting with various things through photography. I’ve come to realize, “I’ll probably keep taking photos for the rest of my life.”
What inspired you to participate?
This was my first time participating in a photo exhibition. Although I had been interested in exhibitions before, I didn’t know where to start and couldn’t take action.
Then, I came across the and thought, “This might be an opportunity to change something,” so I decided to participate immediately.

How was your experience participating?
Since it was my first time participating in an exhibition, I was very nervous and also anxious about having my work seen by others.
However, the space was filled with people who love photography, making it very comfortable. I felt like I began to understand the meaning of “seeing someone’s work and having someone see your own photos.”
Why did you choose that particular photo?
The theme this time was “favorite,” so I chose a photo I took at the sea, which I love. It’s a moment that makes me want to take a deep breath—a “favorite moment” of mine.

A message to those considering joining the photo poster project
You might feel nervous or scared, but everyone there shares the same love for photography.
I’m sure you’ll have inspiring encounters that lead to courage and confidence.
