Please introduce yourself!

I am Yukihiro, an official creator at cizucu. I am based in Kyoto and engage in daily photography.
Due to work, I often photograph the scenery and events in Arashiyama, but primarily, I enjoy snapping everyday scenes while walking around Kyoto.

Tell us about your first participation!

The 'photo poster project in Umeda MeRISE' held in December 2024 was my first experience with a photo exhibition.

It was a very simple motivation, but I was delighted that my work would be made into a poster, and I was excited to see how people would feel about it, which is why I decided to participate.

Have you noticed any changes in yourself after participating multiple times?

In a good way, there is a constraint of vertical composition, and for someone like me who used to take mostly horizontal compositions, I started taking more vertical compositions with the next poster exhibition in mind.

Also, having a theme for each session has been an opportunity to focus on subjects I hadn't photographed before.

What do you find attractive about the photo poster project?

The atmosphere where creators from various genres gather in front of a single work and interact amicably is very attractive.
It's not just fun; it's also a valuable time to get unexpected hints for the next work.

For those who are hesitant to participate in the photo poster project

Some people might feel that exhibitions are a high hurdle. However, the has an atmosphere where you can blend in with people surprisingly quickly.

Sometimes, conversations unrelated to the works fly around, and it feels as casual as going to a lively café.
If you're interested, why not visit once?
