Please introduce yourself!

I’m Yuki, a part-time, laid-back photographer based in Gunma Prefecture. I mainly capture landscape photography, preserving the fleeting moments I encounter through my hobby of photography.

Nature’s beauty and atmosphere bring me peace, helping me relieve daily stress and enjoy life to the fullest. Thank you for having me!

What inspired you to participate?

I used to upload photos I took as a hobby to SNS, but I started feeling a strong desire to take my photography a step further and put more effort into my hobby. Around that time, I discovered the .

I thought, “This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I’m a bit nervous, but I want to give it a try!” That’s when I decided to participate.

Have you noticed any changes in yourself after participating multiple times?

While I had interacted with others about photography on SNS, I rarely had the chance to talk directly with anyone. However, through the , I was able to meet people who share my love for photography and have enjoyable conversations about it.

During the “Gallery Talk” sessions held at the , I could hear directly from exhibitors about the thoughts behind their works. This broadened my perspective and expanded my understanding of photography and its expressive possibilities.

What do you find most appealing about the photo poster project?

The biggest appeal is undoubtedly the ability to connect with people who love photography in real life.
Experiencing works from different genres and styles and hearing directly about the creative techniques behind them is a unique experience only possible at the . It can even inspire you to venture into genres you’ve never tried before.

Personally, I had never exhibited my work at any photography exhibition other than the , so I was initially nervous. However, when I received direct feedback on my photos, I experienced emotions I couldn’t get from SNS. It became a source of motivation for my future photography endeavors, which I think is another charm of the !

A message for those considering participating in the photo poster project

It takes courage to take the first step. I’m sure there are people who feel uncertain—I was one of them.

But if you feel even a tiny spark of wanting to take that step, to try something new, or to expand your community through photography, trust that feeling and give it a shot.
That emotion is likely your true self speaking, and if there’s an opportunity in front of you, seize it! The day will fly by in no time, filled with fun and meaningful moments.

If I get the chance, I’d love to participate again. If we meet at a venue someday, please feel free to say hello!
