This time, we talked to umisora, a creator who has participated in the three times in the past.
Please introduce yourself!
My name is umisora, and I capture snaps of the city and nearby nature.
While walking through daily life and the city, I photograph subjects that catch my eye with my own sense.
The camera I use is a mirrorless LUMIX, which was the starting point for my photography, and I own both Micro Four Thirds and full-frame models. Additionally, I use the GR3X, which suits my shooting style.
Have you experienced any changes within yourself after participating multiple times?
During the first participation in Tokyo in February, I was nervous throughout and couldn't approach other participants easily. However, by the third time in Tokyo in April, I was able to relax as I recognized some familiar faces among the staff and participants.
Additionally, I participated from the preparation stage this time, which was a significant change for someone like me who tends to be nervous. The warm atmosphere of the made me want to participate.
Tell us about the appeal of the photo poster project.
The appeal I've felt since the first participation is the ability to appreciate works from various genres and hear the feelings and stories from the photographers themselves.
Hearing the thoughts of the photographers about their exhibited works is truly a valuable experience, deepening the understanding of the works and positively influencing my own photography.
Moreover, taking home beautifully printed works in A2 size is one of the joys, as I enjoy displaying them at home.

The is characterized by gallery talks by photographers, making it an exhibition where you can deeply engage with the exhibited works. If you want your works to be well-seen or want to hear how others felt about them, please consider participating. It will surely be a good stimulus.
Additionally, it's an exhibition where you can deeply connect with other creators and the organizers, making it more enjoyable with repeated participation, and positively impacting your photography.
For first-time participants, making business cards is recommended. They are excellent communication tools, and since they come in large quantities, you can continue to use them even after participating several times.
