Please introduce yourself!

My name is tomo. I work as a chef in a restaurant while taking photos as a hobby.

I started photography because I wanted to convey the feeling of "deliciousness" through photos. Nowadays, I enjoy casually capturing everyday scenes and special moments with friends!

What motivated you to participate?

This was my first time having someone view my photos, so I was a bit nervous. However, I’ve always wanted to hold a solo exhibition someday, and I thought this would be a great first step.

Although I had been putting it off due to my busy daily life, my desire to have someone see my photos and experience the atmosphere of an exhibition grew stronger, so I decided to participate this time.

How was your experience participating?

It was a very valuable experience. Not only was I able to display my work, but hearing directly from other creators about the thoughts and stories behind their photos was incredibly inspiring.

Additionally, the warm support from the staff made it easy to participate with peace of mind. From the exhibition's atmosphere to its flow, I learned a lot.

Why did you choose that particular photo?

For the theme of "love," instead of choosing a photo I personally love, I selected one that captures a space shared by two people who seem to love each other.

It was a special moment I stumbled upon by chance. Watching the two of them made me reflect on how I want to cherish the people and moments I love even more. I hope this feeling comes across through the photo.

Most importantly, engaging with others' works and interacting with them can help you fall in love with your own work even more. It's a positive and enriching experience, so I encourage you to give it a try!
