FUJIFILM has announced the first fixed lens mirrorless camera in the GFX series, the 'GFX100RF'. Available in silver and black, the price is open, with an expected market price of 830,500 yen (including tax). It is scheduled for release in Japan on April 10, 2025.
The 'GFX100RF' features a 28mm f/4 fixed lens (full-frame equivalent) and a 102-megapixel medium format sensor, delivering remarkable resolution and excellent color reproduction. The lightweight 735g body combines portability with high operability, making it suitable for any shooting scene.
Lightweight Design and High-Resolution Sensor
This model is the lightest in the GFX series, achieving a body weight of 735g. Its compact yet robust design supports creative expression without causing fatigue during long shooting sessions.
The 28mm f/4 fixed lens features a 10-group 8-element construction with aspherical lenses and Nano GI coating, effectively suppressing flare and ghosting. Its clear depiction and wide dynamic range demonstrate high expressive power in still photography.
Versatile Shooting Functions and New Creative Expressions
The GFX100RF is equipped with a new 'Digital Teleconverter' function, allowing the 35mm (28mm full-frame equivalent) lens to digitally crop to 45mm, 63mm, and 80mm equivalent angles of view.
Additionally, a dedicated aspect ratio dial introduces new '3:4' and '17:6' ratios, expanding compositional freedom. The 'Surround View' function displays areas outside the shooting range semi-transparently, supporting more accurate framing.
Advanced AF Performance and Video Capabilities for Any Scene
With a 102-megapixel medium format sensor and the latest image processing engine, it enhances dynamic range and low-light performance. The AF performance accurately captures subjects, including faces, eyes, and animals.
Moreover, it supports 4K/30p 4:2:2 10bit recording, enabling professional video shooting. This ensures excellent performance in both still and video photography.
