Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden '100 Years of Green' | Challenge #102

Plant diversity nurtures various forms of life and brings us inspiring discoveries. Celebrating its 100th anniversary this year, the 'Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden', known as a place of relaxation for residents, has been conveying the charm of plants for a century. To commemorate the 100th anniversary, a special photo contest will be held in two parts.

The theme for the first part is 'Plant Diversity'.

This photo contest is an opportunity to discover the intriguing and beautiful aspects of diversity. We invite you to submit works capturing flowers seen while walking around town, trees growing in hometown parks, or wildlife coexisting with plants. Try to capture the various expressions of plants and their surrounding environment.

Of course, you are also welcome to visit the 'Kyoto Prefectural Botanical Garden' and photograph the plants and birds you find there. We hope this contest will inspire you to visit the botanical garden and feel its charm. We look forward to many submissions.
