Latest Firmware Released for 'X-H2', 'X-T5', 'X-S20', 'X100VI' with Enhanced AF Performance and FUJIFILM XApp Integration | FUJIFILM

FUJIFILM has released the latest firmware for the mirrorless cameras 'X-H2', 'X-T5', 'X-S20', and the fixed-lens digital camera 'X100VI'. The announcement date is April 25, 2024.
The main updates include enhanced integration with the smartphone app 'FUJIFILM XApp' and the addition of RAW image transfer functionality.
Details of the Firmware Update
Improved AF-C Performance
The AF-C mode performance has been improved in 'X-H2', 'X-T5', and 'X-S20'. The frequency of AF focus and distance indicator disruptions when using wide-angle lenses has been reduced.
New Features for Video Recording
These cameras also receive new features supporting video recording. The 'Wide/Tracking' function has been newly introduced, allowing automatic subject selection in AF-S mode and automatic subject tracking in AF-C mode.

X-H2 (Ver.4.00)
Key updates in FUJIFILM XApp Ver.2.0.0 to Ver.2.1.0 include:
- Enhanced camera integration: Added equipment management features and RAW image transfer, making firmware updates easier in the background.
- Improved AF performance: Enhanced tracking in AF-C mode and improved accuracy with wide-angle lenses.
- Additional video recording settings: Improved usability with features like display of shooting conditions during video, start sound, and self-timer.
X-T5 (Ver.3.01)
- Enhanced integration with XApp: Added camera management features and RAW image transfer, enabling remote control even in auto power-off state.
- Improved AF performance and additional video recording settings: Enhanced tracking in AF-C mode and added Wide/Tracking function, improving usability.
- Added and improved convenient features such as direct upload via internet connection and improved Wi-Fi connectivity.
X-S20 (Ver.2.01)
- Enhanced integration with XApp: Added camera management features and RAW image transfer, enabling remote control even in auto power-off state.
- Improved AF performance and additional video recording settings: Enhanced tracking in AF-C mode and added Wide/Tracking function, improving usability.
- Added and improved convenient features such as direct upload via internet connection and improved Wi-Fi connectivity.
X100VI (Ver.1.10)
- With XApp support, RAW image transfer, camera operation during auto power-off, and image viewing are enabled. Improved AF accuracy and Wi-Fi connectivity, and fixed time synchronization error in XApp.
