NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO 'MEET HOT KYOTO' | Challenge #39

When you think of 'Kyoto', many may imagine traditional arts such as tea ceremony and ikebana, or iconic temples and shrines like Kiyomizu-dera and Kinkaku-ji. Of course, the Kyoto you know, shaped by its long history, is captivating. Yet, Kyoto, where diverse people and cultures intersect, still holds many undiscovered facets.

This time, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO, a hotel located in Kyoto Gojo with the concept of delivering encounters with the unseen Kyoto, is sponsoring a contest.

At NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO, under the banner of 'MEET HOT KYOTO', we propose creative and dramatic encounters through music, art, and cuisine that inspire a deeper curiosity to discover the city of Kyoto.

For this photo contest 'MEET HOT KYOTO', we are calling for photographs on the theme of 'The Allure of Unseen Kyoto'! Whether it's a tranquil shrine nestled in a lush landscape, a warmly welcoming local shop, or any other hidden gem you wish to share, we invite you to freely express the yet-to-be-discovered, vibrant charms of Kyoto through your photography.

The selected works will be exhibited within NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO from January 15 (Mon) to January 26 (Fri), 2024. In addition, three featured artists will receive complimentary accommodation vouchers valid until March next year.
