Photography as Raw Material explores photography beyond documentation, using the photograph itself as a material to be reconstructed and transformed. Inspired by my fascination with Brutalist architecture, this work reimagines buildings I photographed throughout London, particularly the Barbican Centre and the Brunswick Centre. Through collage, repetition, and digital manipulation, architectural fragments are removed from their original context and assembled into a new imagined structure. The work reflects my ongoing exploration of London’s built environment while questioning the role of photography as both a record of reality and a medium for creating new visual possibilities.
