Subject : Where the Ship Breathes Camera : Kodak S100EF Lens : Kodak 35mm F4.5 Film : Fomapan 200 Deep inside the ship, another world continues to work. Pipes, steel, heat, oil, and machinery fill the engine room. To someone seeing it for the first time, it may look complicated and unfamiliar. But for those who work here, every sound means something. A change in vibration, a different temperature, or even a slightly unfamiliar noise can be enough to make someone stop and listen. Above us, the ship carries people and cargo across the sea. Down here, there is no horizon. Only machinery, narrow passages, and the constant rhythm of an engine doing the same work hour after hour. Most people will never see this part of a ship. Yet this is where much of its life begins. Where the ship breathes. #lifeatsea #engineroom #marineengineer #shipengine #maritime #shipboardlife #lifeonboard #filmphotography #fomapan200 #kodaks100ef #blackandwhitephotography #documentaryphotography #industrialphotography #seafarer #atsea
