It’s located in the Elbe sandstone mountains in saxony in Germany. Over the last years I visited this place at least 20 times, mostly at sunrise. So I photographed this tree at all seasons and in all weather and light conditions. This photo was made at the first of September 2024. Sometimes it’s just the afternoon light hitting the sea, the waves moving in the background, and flowers blooming quietly at the edge of the view. Nothing major happened here. It was just a passing scene I could have easily missed. But looking at it now, it reminds me that some moments only happen once — not because they’re grand or life-changing, but because the light, the place, and how we felt in that exact moment will never align the same way again.
