He must intriguing who I was. Barely seen asian in middle of Kenya, and who has a machine gun type camera in his hand and walking with bunch of group of white people. I must be so strange to his eye. He must want to know more about me. He kept fallow me until I finally stop by one of host. I was looking around and here he is. I finally have eye contacted with him, and my finger couldn't resist not to do. My finger start to push shutter and got his eye. The eyes with curious and wondering. To me, he is just one of the kids I have met in Kenya, but to him, I became one of his memorable guy in his life. I hope I can remember this moment very long time.... I am mainly a self proclaimed “cat photographer” now since I’ve been taking pictures of street cats in a park that is inside a super crowded area. I am not quite sure how the first batch of cats got there but they are mostly the offsprings of stray cats being abandoned there years ago. I chose this picture particularly due to the fact that the moment is just so immaculate that he cat is posing like a guy with cool aura, that’s it. My friends went ahead to settle their rentals, and I decided to stop for a crepe since I already had my own gear. People were walking past on their way to the rental shop but nobody really stopped to enjoy the view, even though the sky was clear and Mt Yotei was looking gorgeous at blue hour, contrasting with the warm lights of the truck. While waiting, I decided to step back into the road to take a shot. Another guy happened to walk past and look at the vendor's offerings as I took the photo. When I showed the shot to the staff, he asked 写真屋ですか (whether I was a professional photographer). I have never felt like I my photography was that good, so it felt really satisfying to get a positive response!
