Don’t Think, Just Shoot! This phrase, featured over two weeks in cizucu’s magazine, encapsulates Lomography’s cherished approach to photography. While immersing yourself in the nuances of light and composition can be deeply rewarding, there are moments when it’s liberating to release expectations and simply follow your instincts—letting your heart and camera guide you. In doing so, you may stumble upon unexpected discoveries or reconnect with the pure joy that first drew you to photography. For this Open Call, inspired by Lomography’s ethos of "Don’t Think, Just Shoot!", we invite intuitive photographs—works that defy conventional standards of beauty yet possess an undeniable allure. This contest seeks to bridge the gap between heart and camera, encouraging richer, more authentic photographic expression. Photographs captured with Lomography or any other medium are equally welcome. And—this contest’s reward is the iconic ‘Lomography Color Negative 400’! We look forward to your submissions.
